Biogas Industry

A progressive cavity pump is used to circulate the sludge heat exchangers to maintain sludge temperature. This ensures that anaerobic bacteria remains intact inside the fermentation tank. After fermentation, the resulting digestate slurry is transferred by biomass pump to open lagoons/storage tanks.

In recent years, the company has forayed into such as Wastewater, Effluent Treatment, Dairy, Cattle Feed and Food & Beverages apart from Biogas and has accomplished a reasonable market share. In the Biogas Industry, we have installed our Risansi make Screw Pumps for transferring “Segregated and shredded municipal solid waste with entrapped biogas”. Our pumps are being used to bridge differences in height between the levels of slurry-flow through the biogas unit and to mix the substrate or to speed up slow flowing substrates. The pump has been specially designed to withstand corrosion and been successfully running for over several years at rated technical parameters.
